The Federation of German Industries e.V. (BDI) is the umbrella organization for German industry and industry-related service providers. It speaks for 40 industry associations and represents over 100,000 large, medium-sized, and small companies with a good eight million employees. The BDI sees itself not only as a political representative of German industry, but also as a discussion partner and center of expertise.

The Association of German Banks (BdB) represents the interests of private banks in Germany. Over 170 private banks, around 30 extraordinary members such as FinTechs, and eleven regional associations are affiliated with the banking association. The banking association is committed to a responsible financial sector that contributes to growth and prosperity for all.

The Federation of German Wholesale, Foreign Trade, and Services (BGA) is an umbrella organization representing the foreign trade interests of an industry comprising 148,000 companies. These companies employ over 1.9 million people, including 60,000 trainees. The companies are medium-sized and internationally active trading companies that play a significant role in the ongoing internationalization of German trade.

Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammer
The German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) represents the entire commercial economy in Germany. Its members are the 79 chambers of industry and commerce (IHKs) with several million companies from industry, trade, and services—from kiosk owners to large corporations. The DIHK represents these companies in dealings with politicians, administrators, and the public.
